This article is a guide on how to create and track a prebooked shipment in Carriyo.
A prebooked shipment is a shipment that has already been processed at the warehouse and its tracking number generated. This sets it apart from a regular shipment, for which the mentioned processes take place after the order is created. Apart from the creation process, all following operations involved are similar to that of a regular shipment.
The mapping for carrier accounts to be assigned to prebooked shipments can be configured in the Account System settings.
Creating a prebooked shipment
1. Navigate to Shipping > Shipments on the Carriyo Dashboard. The page displays all existing shipments. Click on the add icon to create a new prebooked shipment. To create prebooked Reverse shipments, set Shipment Type to Reverse and follow the same process explained below.
2. Enter all relevant details. All fields with an asterisk (*) are mandatory. Click on the + add custom attributes button to add custom attributes to the shipment. Visit this article to manage shipment attributes.
3. To add parcels and items, click on the respective buttons. Additionally, users can also schedule collection and delivery by clicking on the + add collection and delivery schedule button. Once all details are entered, save as draft or click on Track Shipment.

Converting to a prebooked shipment
Shipments in draft status can be converted to prebooked shipments with the help of this option.
