This article provides a brief overview of the processes involved in booking or confirming shipments.
Shipments can be booked either after they are saved as draft or can be directly booked at the time of shipment creation. However, it is important to note that shipment details can only be edited when in draft status and once booked, only custom attributes are editable. Confirm a Shipment
1. Navigate to Shipping > Shipments on the Carriyo Dashboard. The Book & Track option is provided on both the Shipments page and inside a particular shipment.
Once booked, the shipment's tracking number will be generated and can be tracked in many ways this article. Errors and warnings may be encountered while trying to book a shipment. The errors can be categorized into two namely, Carriyo and carrier errors. Among these, carrier errors typically require consultation with the carriers for resolution. The Contact Carrier option enables this operation. To rectify Carriyo errors, the Edit & Book option can be used.
Additionally, shipments can be booked in bulk. To do this, select all desired shipments and click on the Confirm option displayed.
