This article is intended to be used as a guide to learn how to track shipments.
After a shipment is booked or created a prebooked shipment, status updates will automatically be retrieved from the selected carrier and presented to users.
Tracking a shipment — various ways
Summary tab inside a shipment
The Shipment Timeline in the Summary tab inside a shipment displays the key milestones in the history of a shipment in terms of SLA stages, spanning from its creation to delivery.
If the carrier has returned a tracking URL for it's tracking page, it will be displayed in the Carrier Info section.
History tab inside a shipment
The History tab that immediately follows the Summary tab, presents all events related to the specific shipment in an easily comprehensible format — a timeline chart, arranged from newest to oldest. To better understand the History tab, visit this article.
The System Logs tab displays logs of events in a more detailed manner. To understand System Logs, visit this article.
View Tracking Page
The View Tracking Page option provided for a shipment can be accessed from the page inside a shipment.
The Carriyo tracking page is customizable to reflect a desired appearance (an example is given above). The layout and appearance of the tracking page can be tailored to suit the preferences of individual merchants. Options exist to flexibly configure various elements on the page, including the brand logo, banners, announcement, social media links etc. Additionally, translations of these elements can also be added in any target language.
The options for tracking Reverse shipments is the same as the ones available for Forward shipments.
To switch to Reverse shipments, you can choose Reverse from the Shipment Type dropdown.
