How to get shipping rates – CARRIYO

This article demonstrates how to use the Get Rates option for shipments in Carriyo.

This option is available only for shipments in draft status.This feature will iterate through the list of all available carrier accounts and retrieve the shipping cost for each based on the service offered.

You can find the option to get these rates on the Shipments page. Click on the three dots beside the shipment of your choice and then on "Get Rates" :

A pop-up will be displayed listing the rates for all carrier accounts :

The list displays the rates for the first 9 carrier accounts. To load more options, click on the "Load More" button.

If a rate interests you and you want to proceed with it, simply click on the "Select" button.

The selected carrier will be assigned to the shipment and this will be reflected on the shipment detail page under Carrier Info.

To be able to view these rates, ensure that the carrier accounts either have associated Cost Profiles or enabled carrier APIs for rate fetching. Only then can these accounts be used to obtain rates. Visit this article to learn how to enable this option.
