This article is a guide for users to learn and understand how to edit a shipment.
A shipment can only be fully edited when it is in Draft status. Shipments in other statuses can also be edited but with limited options. ie. only Custom Attributes can be added, edited, or removed.
After booking, all other attributes can't be reset. However, reassigning the shipment to another carrier is made possible through the Reassign Carrier option.
The edit feature proves to be useful at times when the details are incorrectly entered.
Edit a Shipment
1. Navigate to Shipping > Shipments on the Carriyo Dashboard. The Edit option is provided both on the Shipments page and inside a certain shipment.
2. The Edit Forward/Reverse Shipment signifies that the selected shipment is currently being edited. Only the Custom Attributes remain active, allowing for edits, while the remaining fields remain dimmed (for shipments not in draft).
3. To switch to Reverse Shipments, click on the Reverse Shipment title, as highlighted here.
