This article explains the steps involved in the process of rescheduling a shipment's collection & delivery.
A shipment's collection & delivery schedule can be revised using the Reschedule Collection & Reschedule Delivery options available in the shipment's Actions menu. This operation can be done for a single shipment at a time, or in batches as a bulk operation.
Permissions: Only users with Account Manager, Admin, Manager, and Operator access roles are able to reschedule shipment collection & delivery.
Reschedule shipment collection & delivery
1. Navigate to Shipping > Shipments on the Carriyo Dashboard. Select the desired Forward or Reverse shipment. There are two ways to reschedule shipment collection & delivery. One is done from the page itself and the other is done inside a specific shipment's Shipment Detail page as shown below.
2. Click on the Reschedule Collection / Reschedule Delivery option. There are two ways to schedule the operation. First is choosing a timeslot within a date range. This option requires a start date & time and an end date & time. Use the calendar option to set these date & time combinations and click Ok and click on Apply.
The timeslot option allows a time range within a single day. Choose the time period from the dropdown and select the date from the calendar and click Ok. Click on Apply next.
Note that updates in scheduled Collection date will not update carrier systems.
3. The Pickup/Collection and Dropoff/Delivery schedule (original and updated) will be shown in the Shipment Detail page in the Pickup & Dropoff Details sections respectively.
4. For revising collection & delivery collection in bulk, select the required shipments (to select all, check the box in the table header), and click on more options and choose Reschedule Collection / Reschedule Delivery from the list of actions.
Note: Bulk Reschedule Delivery option is only allowed for shipments with the same destination country.
