In our latest release, we introduced the following new features:
Ability to schedule a return pickup date
Before this update, users couldn't choose when they wanted to get their returned items collected. It is now possible for the customer to schedule a return collection by selecting a date.
In the Returns Portal, if this feature is enabled in the settings, the customer will have access to a new step called "Schedule Collection," where they can choose a date and time for the pickup.
In the menu Settings > Returns, you can enable the feature and configure the following:
- Available schedule start date : set the number of days ahead when collection scheduling becomes available.
- Allowed scheduling days: define the number of calendar days during which customers can schedule a collection.
- Time slot size: specify the number of hours each time slot should cover.
- Scheduling : set the specific days of the week and times of the day when collections can be scheduled.
Auto-approval of the return request
Auto-approval for return requests is now possible, eliminating the need for manual approval for client-initiated returns.
When enabled, every return request is automatically approved, a reverse shipment is created if needed, and the status is set to "Approved."
There's also an option in the Return Settings to toggle the auto-approval feature on or off.
Description added to reports header
We reviewed the page design and, for the report screens, added a header description to explain the purpose of each report.
