Custom Domains can be set up in Carriyo to host the different web pages under CX Apps under the brand domain. This includes the Tracking Page, Returns Portal, Feedback Loop page, and the Pinpoint Location page.
Once these custom domains are added to the list and verified, they can be used in the Custom Domain sections provided in the CX Apps settings.
Custom Domains are managed at the Account Level.
Permissions: Only users with Admin access roles are allowed to configure and manage Custom Domains.
Setting up a Custom Domain
1. Navigate to Settings > Custom Domains on the Carriyo Dashboard. To add a new domain, click on the add icon on the top right corner.
2. Provide a domain name of your choice and click Next.
Note: Before adding a new custom domain ensure you own the domain and are able to add DNS entries to verify the domain. Do not use a domain previously used in another Carriyo account. A domain name used in staging/demo environment cannot be used in production.
3. The following step is to verify the domain. To do this, you must add the CNAME record with values provided in the table in your DNS settings and click on Verify Domain. You can also verify the record at a later time using the verify domain option from the menu.
4. The Status column signifies the verification status of the domain name. To verify a domain with pending status, use the Verify Domain option from the menu. You can also delete records from the list.
5. Once the required domains are verified, you can use them in CX Apps section as seen below. Select the domain from the dropdown and the new URL will be reflected on the Preview screen.
