The Control Tower displays all relevant data that affects shipment operations on a daily basis. It contains information related to shipments in various stages such as processing, collection & delivery. The page also displays the Customer Promise & RTO (Return to Origin) shipments for the day.
Understanding Control Tower Data
1. Navigate to the Control Tower on the Carriyo Dashboard. By default, the page displays only Forward shipments with the data being grouped together by destination country. You can use the Group By and Shipment Type filters to change this. Additionally, you can use the filter option on the top right corner to narrow down the categories/scenarios.
- Processing time is calculated from the Order date to Confirmation date.
- Collection time is calculated from the Booked date to the Shipped date.
- Delivery time is calculated from the Shipped date to the Delivered date.
2. Hover over the doughnut chart to see the percentage of data affected by each categories. To see the actual shipments affected, click on the desired category and you will be redirected to the Shipments list page with predefined filters.
3. Each tile represents a stage in the shipment process, with data presented in three separate charts. The main chart displays all shipments currently in that stage. Exceptions refer to shipments at risk of not meeting the criteria necessary to complete the stage successfully. Late shipments are those where Service Levels have been broken. Visit this article to learn how to set up Service Level rules.
- Processing - Shipments being prepared at the warehouse or fulfillment location.

The Customer Promise time is calculated from Order Date to Delivered date.
