This article is a brief guide on how to manage Alerts settings on the Dashboard.
The Alerts Dashboard lets users review and manage alerts generated by Carriyo. This includes Booking Errors, Failed Deliveries, Late Shipments, cases of SLA breach. Alert categories can be enabled or disabled based on user preferences. Additionally, alerts can also be received via email so that users get notified of immediate errors and issues with shipments.
Setting up
1. Navigate to the Carriyo Dashboard. Account Level Alerts can be configured by users with Admin access role by navigating to Settings > Account > Alerts.
These toggles must be enabled at the Account Level for them to be activated at the User Level.
2. Navigate to Alerts on the Carriyo Dashboard. To activate alert categories, click on the Settings button on the top right corner of the page.
3. The below alerts are configured at the user level. Enable toggles for the required alerts and click on Save.
Receive alerts via email − When enabled, you will receive the alerts via email.
Booking Errors − A Booking Error is triggered when a shipment confirmation request is rejected due to technical or validation reasons.
Failed Delivery − A Failed Delivery occurs when a shipment status is updated to Failed Delivery Attempt.
Late Shipments − A shipment is late when the Promise Date is not met.
SLA Breach − An SLA Breach occurs when a shipment's expected Processing Date, Collection Date or Delivery Date is missed.
4. Once all changes are made, the Dashboard will display all events that align with the category alerts configured in the settings. These can be filtered using quick filters (top left corner) and using filters (top right corner). Click on View to navigate to the corresponding Shipment Detail page.
5. Click on Dismiss button to clear individual alerts. To clear all alerts, click on the No Alerts icon at the top right corner.
