This article is a brief introduction to the Carriyo Store App and how it works.
As an extension of the Carriyo web application, Store App lets users manage orders and customers in a manner similar to physical stores. Each location in the Carriyo App is treated as a store and the customers and orders are managed for these individual stores. A customer can have multiple addresses that can be used to create associated orders.
Users with restricted permissions can only manage orders from and to the stores they are assigned to.
Any order that is created with a specific store as the pickup location will be visible in the Store App for that store. These orders can be managed on the Carriyo App or the Store App. The actions possible on shipment entities on the Store App, however, are limited.
Note: Shipments can't be cancelled once they are Shipped.
Use quick filters to assist with navigating orders in different statuses.
The Customers page displays all customers that are associated with the orders for all stores.
Select a customer record or use the add icon on the top right corner on the Orders page to create an order. View this article to understand in detail the process of creating an order.
Forward and Reverse shipments are not displayed separately in the Store App. Rather, Forward shipments are represented with Order Type as Delivery and Reverse shipments are denoted with Order Type as Return.
