This article serves as a guide to navigating the History tab in the Shipment detail page.
Shipment History tab presents information to users by extracting important event occurences from the System Logs page along with the source that is responsible for the corresponding update.
Shipment History
1. Navigate to Shipping > Shipments on the Carriyo Dashboard and select the required shipment.
The Shipment History tab follows the Summary tab. It records all events that have taken place in relation to the shipment in the form of a timeline, from newest to oldest. The person or source that corresponds to a change is also shown.
Click on show details to know more about the event occurred, if it is displayed.
Errors are shown in the same manner as that in the Summary tab. Notifications sent to users is also recorded in the History tab.
Analysing Automation Rule Assignment
Automation rule assignment process is displayed more elaborately than other events. Rules can be skipped, if there is some condition that inhibits assignment of shipment to that specific carrier. To learn more about automation rules, visit this article.

Here, the Applied Rule Set is selected based on the Merchant and pickup country entered for the shipment. The pre-filtered rules that are displayed below belong to the above ruleset. Pre-filtering refers to additional checks based on the shipment attributes like payment type, delivery type etc. Rules are checked based on their priority in the ruleset.
The reason for skipping automation rules are also shown. Dropoff and Pickup location, other conditions etc. are checked first. Further checks include carrier network check (visit article), or carrier capacity check (visit article) etc.

Users can also perform other operations by clicking on the menu (three-dot) option on the top right corner, or refresh the page and also see changes made to the shipment details by clicking on the View Change Log option on the top.
