This article serves as a guide to navigating the Summary tab within the Shipment detail page.
A shipment is an order that is to be delivered to a shipping location (physical address). The two types of shipments (entity types) in Carriyo are Forward and Reverse shipments. Forward shipments refer to shipments that are delivered from merchant to customer while Reverse shipments are those delivered from customer to merchant.
Shipment Summary
The Summary tab displays the details of the shipment in blocks or sections of information. These are discussed below in detail.
On the top part of the shipment Summary page, the status denotes the current status of the shipment. Users can change the status using the dropdown beside it. The View Change Log option displays all shipment details and the changes made to them and the source responsible for the change.
Users can switch between the Summary, History and System Logs tab of the Shipments page by clicking on the respective titles.
The refresh and menu option are provided on the top right corner of the page.
Shipment Timeline
Shipment Timeline makes use of four distinct statuses to display the current status of the shipment. It also displays the timestamp of the status update. If the shipment is late based on Service Levels or the estimated collection and delivery schedule, it is highlighted here.
If a shipment is in Error, it will be displayed under this section.
Shipment Status
The Shipment Status block contains key information regarding the shipment. The reference IDs, the merchant name, the status that the shipment was last updated to and its timestamp can be found here.
Documents
All documents displayed in the Documents section are available for download only after the shipment is booked and the labels are generated. The default label can be configured in the carrier account settings.
Carrier Info
Carrier Info displays all carrier related information along with the tracking number that was generated for the shipment. Carrier tracking page will also be displayed, if exists. Carriyo supports two types of tracking pages — carrier tracking page for specific carriers and Carriyo tracking page for specific merchants. To view the Carriyo tracking page, click on the menu option on the top right corner of the page.
Payment Info
Payment Info is displayed in a dedicated section. There are two modes of payment namely pre-paid and cash-on-delivery.
Pickup Details & Dropoff Details
Pickup and Dropoff details are displayed along with the sheduled collection and delivery, if they are set. When hovered over the pickup/dropoff address, it displays all details passed in the shipment along with the Carriyo mappings for the same.
Custom Attributes
Custom Attributes are positioned under Payment Info. These can be edited no matter what the shipment status is. For all other sections or properties, Carriyo does not allow editing once the shipment is in booked status.
Native Attributes/Delivery Info
Order Types and Delivery Types are native Shipment Attributes and are arranged in the bottom most section.

Parcels and Items
Items come stored inside parcels. The details of the all the parcels and items are described in this section. Items section displays image, SKU, Country of Origin, HS Code etc.
