This article outlines the steps required to set up a Service Level set in Carriyo.
Service levels are established to ensure the timely delivery of promised services to customers. These rules are subject to continual review and refinement to enhance performance and meet evolving customer needs. Service Level sets are grouped by pickup countries and merchants at the time of their creation. Carriyo manages 4 different types of Service Levels.
On setting up Service Level sets and rules, Carrier Performance and Service Level reports under Reports will be affected. Creation/activation of duplicate Service Level sets is not allowed. They can be configured for both Forward and Reverse shipments.
Permissions: Only users with Account Manager, Admin and Manager access roles are able to create and manage Service Level Sets.
Setting up a Service Level Set
1. Navigate to Shipping > Service Levels on the Carriyo Dashboard. The page shows all existing Forward Service Level Sets. Click on the Reverse tab to switch to display all Reverse Service Level Sets. To create a new set, click on the add icon on the top right corner.
Users can make use of the search and filter options to display only relevant information.
2. Provide a suitable name, the pickup countries and the merchants that the set should apply to, in the dialog box. Ensure that the set is active for it to take effect. Click on Save once all required details are entered.
Note: Carriyo does not allow creation of duplicate Service Level sets.
3. Operations allowed on a Service Level set include edit, duplicate and delete. Users can optionally click on the Service Level set to enable editing.
Additionally, hovering over the number or question mark displays the names of merchants assigned to the set.
Activating & Deactivating Service Level sets
The operation of activating and deactivating Service Level sets becomes useful when they are used only for a certain period of time or are used infrequently. Deactivating sets mean that the rules contained inside it will also have no effect on the operations involving them. Users can activate it again only when required.
